Dr. Gemma Coronel, ND​

Dr. Gemma Coronel is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor whose approach to care emphasizes whole-person health, prevention, recovery, and long-term well-being.

​

She earned her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM) in Portland, Oregon. Her interest in naturopathic medicine began while completing her Bachelor of Science in Human Biology at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where she became increasingly aware of the need for greater diversity, representation, and individualized care within medicine. That experience helped shape her decision to pursue a career centered on a more comprehensive and patient-focused approach to health.

Following completion of her doctoral degree, Dr. Coronel completed a primary care residency at NUNM, with clinical rotations in hydrotherapy, IV therapy, substance-use recovery, care for underserved communities, mental health, and women’s health. Her additional clinical interests include pain management, nutrition, botanical medicine, mood support, and hormone balance.

As a second-generation Latina, Dr. Coronel values the opportunity to care for individuals from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Her approach is patient-centered, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed. She takes the time to understand each patient’s health history, lifestyle, environment, goals, and individual strengths, then works collaboratively to develop a thoughtful and personalized plan of care.

She also values the role that community, nutrition, lifestyle, and traditional health practices can play in supporting overall well-being. Her goal is to help patients better understand their health, identify opportunities for improvement, and make sustainable changes that support how they want to live, move, feel, and age.

​

In 2026, Dr. Coronel joined Majestic MD Spa, a physician-led wellness, recovery, and longevity practice focused on helping individuals move beyond reactive symptom management toward a more proactive approach to health.

​

As part of the Stay in the Game philosophy, Dr. Coronel’s whole-person perspective complements a multidisciplinary approach to recovery, performance, and longevity. Her expertise in nutrition, lifestyle medicine, hormone balance, and integrative health helps support patients who want not simply to feel better today, but to build the health and resilience needed to continue doing what they love for years to come.

Dr. Coronel is bilingual and is committed to creating an environment in which patients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their care.

Outside of the office, Dr. Gemma enjoys spending time in nature, crafting with a warm beverage nearby, and cooking and baking for friends and family.
