Shockwave Therapy

Think of it like a high-tech "massage gun" that uses gentle sound waves (acoustic pressure waves) instead of vibration or hands to treat pain deep in your muscles, tendons, and joints.

Why do Shockwave?

  • It sends quick pulses of energy waves through your skin into the sore or injured area.

  • These waves help your body heal naturally by:

    • Increasing blood flow to bring more oxygen and nutrients.

    • Breaking up tight spots, scar tissue, or inflammation.

    • Stimulating your body's own repair process (like kick-starting healing for stubborn injuries).

    • Reducing pain signals so you feel relief faster.

  • It's completely non-invasive – no needles, no surgery, no downtime. You just sit or lie down while we apply a gel and use the handheld applicator on the area.

Common things we treat with it:

  • Chronic pain like heel pain (plantar fasciitis), Achilles tendon issues, tennis/golfer's elbow, shoulder tendinitis, knee problems, or back/neck muscle tightness.
  • Trigger points (those "knots" in muscles that cause pain).
  • Long-lasting injuries that haven't improved with rest, physical therapy, or meds.

How long does it take to work?
Most people feel improvement after 3–6 sessions (once a week), and it often works where other treatments haven't. It's safe, FDA-cleared for pain relief, and backed by lots of studies. Sessions last about 10–15 minutes, and you might feel a tapping sensation (like a deep massage), but we adjust it to your comfort
